   Webster County Fair
      September 3rd - 6th at Camp Caesar, Cowen, WV

   Upshur County Commission Meeting
      9 am on the 3rd floor, Courthouse Annex
       The Upshur County Commissioners meet every Thursday at 9 am, except during holidays, on the third floor of the Courthouse Annex and the public is welcome to attend.

   "Festival Fridays"
      5 to 8 pm at Jawbone Park
       "Festival Fridays", a community gathering with live music, food, and crafts at Jawbone Park, is held every Friday from 5 to 8 pm until September 12th.  Visit for details.

   Century Jamboree
      2 to 5 pm at the Century Community Center
